TradingPro is the registered trade mark of Gerling & Company Pty Ltd. Claus Gerling is the principal of Gerling and Company Pty Ltd. He holds a MBA and a PhD in finance. He has almost 30 years experience in financial markets working as an institutional stock broker for Australian shares in London and for French shares in Paris. He managed his own futures broking company in Paris before relocating to Sydney in 1996.
Gerling & Company Pty Ltd was founded in 1997 at that time being a Member of the Sydney Futures Exchange Ltd and holding a Futures Brokers Licence which was later transitioned into an Australian Financial Services Licence (Licence # 218 770). This licence authorises Gerling & Company Pty Ltd to advise and deal in securities, derivatives, foreign exchange, interests in own managed investment schemes and deposit and payment products (limited to basic deposit products).
At Gerling & Company Pty Ltd we aim to achieve absolute, positive returns for our clients in domestic and international shares and international indices using a combination of fundamental and technical analysis for investment idea generation and management. As an independent financial advisor we are not aligned with any bank or product issuer thus being able to provide truly independent advice. We do not receive a cut of the brokerage of our clients’ trades but are remunerated with a reasonable flat rate fee thus any minimising conflict of interest.
